Why I Wont Raid
I dropped Atheon on hard.
Dropped Crota on hard.
Dropped Skolas without cheesing.
Got the Black Spindle.
But I wont do the TTK raid.
It appears that the raid attracts arrogant asshats like a dog turd attracts flies on a hot day.
Everyone who did the raid did so below 300 level.
Now they seem to think they are some elite, the muppets.
Do I want to go on LFG and raid with a bunch of arrogant, moronic, assshats ?
No thanks.
And by the way, there are so many people wearing the same raid gear and using the same, mainly crap raid weapons, that the game is losing its individuality.
It used to be the idiots used Thorn in PvP.
Then they all flew the Skolas ship at the start of strikes.
Then they all wore horse head helmets and displayed the Osiris emblem.
Now they all run around with the same raid guns / gear.
Destiny has killed individuality.
Its now a sterile and mindless race to try and become another raid lemming to try and impress idiots, noobs and other raid lemmings.
No thanks.
If anyone wants to raid for fun, to enjoy the game, to savour and enjoy Destinys end content until the new game drops in 2016 / 2017 = then invite me.
If you want to join the lemmings then do one.

what? I mean if you wanna willfully deny yourself content i guess that's your right but I'm left to question when you actually did all those things. asshats on lfg have been around as long as the site and joining an asshat group (must have 50000 grim, gally and 10 flawless trials runs, ect, you know the type) has always lead to the same thing. somewhat ironically, not completing the raid, because you joined a group of asshats. this is not a new phenomena nor is it any worse than it's ever been so why did it take you this long to figure out? also, why don't you do something, ya know, productive? like say starting your own group? simply use the LF#M tag and invite whoever you want, surely there are more people in your position who wont be picked up by other groups yet are still perfectly capable of completing the raid? whineing on the forums is great, I love it when other people do it and I love doing it myself whoever at the end of the day it accomplishes nothing. The people demanding 300+ now are the same people that demanded Ghorn and all 32's for Crota, from the day they made 32 forward. We just helped a friend with 265 light through a fresh run on Kings Fall, and he contributed all the way through Sisters. He held down his platform at Sisters, was assigned a dps role at Golgoroth....It hardly mattered until Oryx. Only weak raid groups demand 300 + or it's equivalent!

People are just using raid weapons right now because they have the highest light. Once we start getting duplicates we can infuse other weapons and armor. Bungie is moving in the right step with infusing. As long as it's legendary, you can be max light with it.

So nothing at all has changed, I'm seriously questioning the validity of your claims that you've beaten everything else. If you had you would already know this is exactly how it's ALWAYS been. Literally nothing has changed except power level and ghorn.

Some squeaker sent me a message asking for 300 light and know what to do, no exceptions or kick. I sent him a message saying no. He invites me to a party, I tell him no again. He sends me a message saying "plz help me I have no one". I wonder why?!

Well said agree totally was looking forward to the raid went to lfg.... Was put right off. I play for fun and not to boost someone else's ego. One guy said to me "just be quiet and follow orders I'll get you Through" I said yes sir and left lol. Add me Mizthewiz on ps4 may be we will raid together one day lol....

1 ReplyI don't believe that you don't have s crew by now. If you experienced all of this stuff you have to have had one decent fire team. It's not cool to make generalizations either I gladly invite noobs to my raid team as long as they are 290+ light

8 RepliesThis post just shows arrogance. Not all of us who have beaten the raid multiple times are arrogant. Personally me and my group of friends did it blind to enjoy it. Find a group of friends and do it and than you don't gotta worry about the small amount of arrogant players that do lfg posts.

I see these posts here everyday. Yet I have never encountered these people on lfg. I don't get it. I have never had an issue with destinylfg.net and I have used it most every day for almost a year.

Once I raid I'll use the raid gear obviously because it's better. Then once I start getting duplicate gear I'll infuse it into my other gear so I can be a snowflake :)
