Jolly Holiday quest is crap
The jolly holiday quest is extremely hard, even though the reward for it is an exotic (the chaperone) I found it extremely challenging considering that the last word has been nerfed. Also the quest description said nothing about deaths in the crucible taking away progess... so not only do you have to get 100 kills in the crucible with a nerfed last word but you also have to do so while every death takes away a kill from your progress (1 kill = 1%) the quest progress also glitches quite a bit and often takes away more than 1% of progress per death and sometimes doesn't give you progress for kills... in conclusion this quest is absolutely the dumbest and most unbelievably impossible thing to do in destiny!!!

Death only slows your progress if you have tlw equipped. Edit: this method takes a long ass time, but if you suck with tlw, like me, it's worth it.

I finished the Jolly Holliday quest just have to wait till Tuesday also if you also trying to do the strike and you have a year 2 4th horseman use it because it's powerful in that strike. 😀

I did it in like 5 games by playing like a shadow warrior, being careful is your friend.

1 ReplyDid it in under 5 games. Never liked the last word, first time using it because it was forced to. I hated every second of the bounty it is possible, getting streaks boost you massively. 10 kill streak with it took me from like 25 to 68. Its not impossible, you just need to stop moaning and play smarter.

Last word kills are still easy imo. I just need it equipped. My her benevolence and radegasts/void edge helped as well as kills with them count as long as TLW is equipped.

It's good that there's finally difficult things in Destiny, but when I did the quest I noticed that dying was never a specific loss of %, such as one death being a loss of 1%, and another death being the loss of 3% so it can get frustrating. Another tip is that medals also give you points toward the bounty, which is why half way through the bounty I just said -blam!- the last word and went relentless with a shotgun(netting me 20% towards the bounty for the relentless medal)

Sun breaker titan with double fusion, sniper, lmg. Done in 2 matches.

Completed mine just sitting in the back of the map with a sniper in control picking people off. Then would get heavy with an LMG. Got roughly 30% each match

1 ReplyHere's what you do. Play normally without the last word equipped. When heavy comes up, grab the heavy ammo and find a safe spot to equip the last word. Machine gun the balls off of people with the last word equipped and then super them after that for massive streak. When you die, unequip the last word and play normally again until heavy. Rinse and repeat until you complete it. Very very easy.
