Help

Just wanted to learn a bit more. Just hit level 34 and only have rare armor and weapons, where is everyone getting their legendary gear? I have no dlc so no Prison of Elders. I've had no reason to get it, I never thought I would actually get into Destiny but now I can't do much.

You can buy armour from the vendors in the tower, that's where a lot of it comes from. The best stuff comes from raids and PoE though.

They are random loots. You can get them on crucible, strikes, or nightfall.
