Khepri's Stings back fire
The Stings are my favorite weapon/armor without a doubt for my hunter! The poison does great damage and the perks are sweet! But.. The poison does hella damage and there is a hidden perk called backfire on it.
This perk poisons me instead of the enemy. And that is the worst in the prison. Any explanation for this? I still use them but... The getting poisoned part and taking damage sucks. It doesn't happen all the time, but still highly inconvenient at times. Thanks

By any chance were you doing Skolas' Revenge (35 Prison of Elders) with the exotic? If so, Skolas has the ability to "taint your light", which resembles the poison you inflict upon other A.I combatants in the game world.
