Curiosity is getting the best of me. In the process of downloading right now.
If you did, what do you think of it?
If you didn't get the notification, you can force the update like this http://venturebeat.com/2015/07/28/how-to-force-windows-to-start-downloading-the-windows-10-update-files/

Edited by Hatima 117: 10/10/2015 2:05:57 AMI'll never upgrade to Windows 10 again. Well, maybe in another year until the bugs are worked out. I could never get the Start menu or notifications to pop up. I tried everything. Even used tweaking.com. Gave up and reverted back to Win 7 64bit. PS. If you want that to go away. Go to your programs and uninstall KB3035583 hotfix.

1 ReplyEdited by SpookiestMelissa: 7/31/2015 3:00:23 AMSure did. Cool design, neat features and improvements. May just be me, but I noticed a considerable increase in boot time. However the performance of everything else went up by at least a third for me. Ok trade off I guess.

I plan to upgrade later today, it's free so why not?

1 ReplyI'm staying on Windows 8 for now. I got a free copy so meh. I'm staying with it mostly because I've got no idea whether or not it may interfere with some games.

Yes and it is amazing.

1 ReplyI want to, but I'm not sure all my games are windows 10 compatible yet.

No distinct need to at the moment, and I really don't want an OS with kinks at release like always.

Currently am.

I did on my living room PC, but not on my laptop. Just now used the technique you linked and it seems to have worked. As far as my PC goes, I'm definitely liking it a lot more than I did when 8 came out. It feels more intuitive and well thought out in comparison.

Can you just download it and not install it? I'd just like to keep the files until they start revealing updates and shit.
-
Wait... It's out now? I ordered it but I haven't checked yet.

I want the ability for those active tiles to be moved from the start menu and placed on the desktop.
-
I was going to, until my computer froze during installation...

I was part of the insider program so I upgraded in May

No because it hasn't rolled out to me or my mates.
