A lot of atheists seem to think that there is nothing after death. Absolutely nothing. You will cease to exist. That means you won't even have the consciousness necessary to perceive the nothing around what used to be you. That is just simply mind boggling. I, on the other hand, like to think that there is something on the other side. Something. Whether we turn into ghosts or go to heaven or get reincarnated, I don't know. I just like to think that there's something. Gives me something to look forward to when I die.

Edited by King Stark: 4/24/2015 8:55:16 PMWe die and then their's nothing. You're gone from this world forever. Your concience seizes to exist.

We die and we are condemed to an endless black void never to see life again, essentially what it's like before you're born, nothing
-
I believe I will be in heaven for eternity worshipping my lord and savior ... Jesus Christ
-
Nothing, like every other critter that's dies you cease to exist, your body deteriorates into nothingness. The only bit of you that stays alive is the DNA of you in your offspring.

Beer pong with Jesus.

Die see the gate of heaven St Peter is in front of me and probably ask should I be allowed in I explain my faults but also my good deeds Where it go from there it up to god and Jesus

Simply Yes I don't wanna start a war with other people by going into details.

I get to live through all my favorite video games with my loved ones. Because lying on a lawn chair for eternity next to Jesus Christ sounds boring as fu.

2 RepliesEdited by Spyro: 4/24/2015 8:46:35 PMOne of two things will most likely happen: 1. My consciousness will seize to exists. 2. I will be reincarnated. I believe this because we actually have some evidence on it. http://www.today.com/news/return-life-how-some-children-have-memories-reincarnation-t8986

4 Repliesunlike religious people, we don't treat people based on how we want to be treated in an afterlife. We treat people because it is the right thing to do. Not because we want payment

afterlife = recycling. everything gets recycled in nature...

Waking up in cosmodrome with Peter Dinklage (the real one) on my side...! If afterlife means sleeping with a midget for centuries.... Then id rather be reincarnated as a teletubby.

2 RepliesI'm a materialist, I don't believe in an afterlife, it's people being scared of their own mortality. Our brain does all the work, we don't have a soul or anything mystical like that, when we die we die boom nothing.
-
7 RepliesI believe that we are reborn as an animal

I belief the afterlife is whatever you believe it to be. Hindus believe they rejoin with the universal spirit (Bramhan, I think), so that's what a Hindu's afterlife will be like. Christiand believe they will spend the rest of Eternity in Heaven with God, so that's what'll happen to them.
Me? I just hope there's enough to do in the afterlife to keep me from getting bored with Eternity.
When i die probably an apocolypse will happen and the world will blow up like namek in dbz

I think the thought of an afterlife takes away from your life now. If you believe there is an infinite existence after this life, then this is simply a place to wipe your feet, and any issues are irrelevant to to eternal paradise coming next. I'm Afraid of the thought of death, I don't like the idea that my mark on this earth is so short. But I also know that what I want to be true is irrelevant to what is true, and until I have some reason to believe there is something after death, I choose to live this life the best I can and seek to pass on a safe and better place for my kids. I have everything to live for, I just have nothing to die for.

I trust that it will be much better than life on Earth, to say the least.

There's nothing for me to believe. I'll find out soon enough.

Honestly, I have no idea what is going to happen when I die. It doesn't really concern me either. Live well and treat others well because it is the right thing to do, not so I get a reward when I die.
