Halo 4 and 343
Why does every one seem to hate Halo 4 and 343? Out of the people I have talked to no one seems to like it, except me.

Well, it seemed to borrow from a lot of other games then current and offered almost nothing new for game mechaniscs - as we'd become used to with Bungie. No, Halo 4 was dumbed-down to make you feel like some sort of awesome badass so you'd feel good and play more. Example: giving you amazingly, ridiculously big, large kill-zones around a head-regions {easily 2x what the cranium size was} giving you kills you did not deserve. I'm just being honest.

Personally, I judged it for story not multiplayer and I thought it was great. I've never understood all the hate it gets either.

343 put drama into halo.

I was a fan of halo 4 and ive been playing halo since thr begining and cant wait for halo 5

It's a mixed bag of cats. Halo4 changed to much of Halo's core for many players (I feel that Reach changed it much more drastically but some still hold Bungie on a pedestal) For me I liked Halo4's MP the only things they implemented I would have changed is the personal load outs and ordinance. Other then those two things H4 had a decent MP. Campaign wise H4 is second to halo2 for me (loved halo3 but the way halo2 ended I count it as just halo2.5) Halo5 looks to be a very good game I loved the Beta though on a few occasions the TTK seemed a lil quick. But otherwise I loved it and have looked over their announcement of changes they are already making and can say they are trying to make the game much more fun,fair and yet keep its competitive nature.

Halo 4 is by far the worst multiplayer in the entire series. Not only did 343 F up on that but they also F ed up on the mcc. Nothing they have done has been good. Besides the halo 4 campaign. It was pretty good.

The multiplayer, on the other hand, other than big team battle, it was the worst in the series. And it's pretty obvious why. But over all, the game was really good, it just sometimes gets hate it doesn't deserve.

It's more CoD than Halo, and it's missing features. Also 343 is slow at updating their game. Need I remind you that their weapon update took over 6 months?

3 RepliesThe main reason is that the multiplayer moved away from Halo's core elements and people didn't take kindly to that. This overshadowed its great story-telling though.

You clearly have not throughly played Bungie's Halo games or read the books when Bungie owned the rights and asked yourself "what are the core principles of Halo". 343i pooped on the core principles of Halo and tried to appeal to CoD fanboys.
