Due to the shortage of the necessary drugs for lethal injection, Utah has turned to other means of executing its condemned. One of which is the firing squad.

Who cares how they die? To get a death sentence, you must have done something terrible. I say the more painful the better.
-
Too quick for the b**tards, they should put one in the leg and leave them to die

21 RepliesI think using the firing squad is -blam!-ed up. A) bullets are less humane than drugs B) there's a greater chance of surviving a barrage of bullets and being left maimed C) pulling the trigger on another person takes more fortitude than pushing a button and having a machine administer a lethal dose of drugs

2 Replies5 rounds of ammo and 1 blank $1.00 legal fees for death row appeals process $100,000,000
-
40 RepliesEasy. Just get rid of the death penalty. How the 'land of the free' can justify the gumints right to murder its citizens is beyond me.
-
Charlie pls.
-
Screw em, give me the gun and I'll put the bullet in their head for free. No bullshit. Tax payer money wasted on keeping these mother-blam!-ers alive and well in a jail cell, at least make them do manual labor to be some sort of contribution to society.

Crucifixion anyone?

2 RepliesI think you should only get the death penalty for murder. And i also believe you should be killed the way you killed. Its only fair
hate incoming
-
1 ReplyThey should just use rpgs, that would be more humane then guns.

Those mormons need to bring back the public gallows

Unintended consequence of foreign, mostly European, manufacturers refusing to export if drug will be used in an execution.

Edited by Miharu_Tansho: 5/7/2015 6:02:43 PMOk with firing squad other options not available.

2 RepliesWhat about beheading?
-
Just put them to unpaid labor. It helps the economy.

8 RepliesSo long as the person is guilty, I don't care what method is used, providing no pain consciously perceived.

Messy, very hands on, and unoriginal (albeit cheaper). Incineration though more costly would serve a duel purpose in that it provides the execution desired while also prepping the corpse for the afterlife. If the ashes were not claimed, they could be spread on the prison turf to save on fertilizer.

Utah OKs Mormons..
-
2 RepliesWhy can't they just hang them it's cheap and humane
-
3 RepliesMy ancestors are smiling at me, Utah. Can you say the same?
-
It's messier but honestly not a bad way to be executed.
