Clarkson is gone

This is stupid, he argues with everyone, yes he occasionally says something offensive but so does everyone. Just no. I need my weekly Top Gear.

4 RepliesI don't care what he said. Top Gear is the only show on BBC worth watching and has been for years, and Clarkson's the one who makes that show good. Dude'd be better off quitting and starting his own TV show. He could steal all of BBCs viewers and no longer be constrained by their stupid policies.

1 ReplyYea, he did punch one of the producers so I can't say he's not at fault here. It sucks because they are sacking the remaining 3 episodes. They will not air. Pure speculation but I could see it play out where an arguement quickly gets personal and since alcohol is one of Jezzers main food groups, it probably got ugly fast. With the amount of hot water he's managed to keep himself in this past year, they are probably weighing their options about the future of Top Gear. The show makes too much money for them to stop it altogether, though. He'll be back.

1 ReplyWhatever it was, it was probably stupid, and he'll be back. The interplay and back and forth between Hammond, May, and Clarkson are what make Top Gear so successful. Their humor and personalities got them popular, and that's what got them the budget to do ridiculous things. The BBC can't give up this cash cow. None of the presenters seem worried, and it's probably just going to blow over quickly.

3 RepliesIt won't last long. He makes the BBC waaaaaaaay too much money. And he actually bought the name Top Gear so he could seriously quit and Richard and James would most likely follow him to one of the many many other stations willing to drown him in money to have his show.
