The Nechrochasm is actually really powerful...
... when used by a Gunslinger Hunter. If you utilize Gunslinger's Trance (precision kills increase stability, stacks 3x) and Chain of Woe (precision kills increase reload speed, stacks 3x), the gun absolutely chews through enemies in PvE.
EDIT: It still needs a buff.
EDIT 2: OK so I just ran an Omnigul ROC Strike with the Necrochasm, and this thing was struggling against red Captains... I'm going to take back anything good I've ever said about this gun... It BADLY needs a buff...

8 RepliesI have a question. If you use it enough, what is your precision kill ratio on your grimoire? Mines 48% and I find it useful even with shielded captains without burn. That thrall explosion perk is its power. So damn satisfying against things other than hive. Confused many people with it.

In it's current state, it seems to be only good for trash mobs. I have the eidolon ally and crux of crota, but am in no hurry to get the necro until it's buffed.

3 RepliesMight want to cut back a little on the smoko, it's really powerful on patrol again level 4 and below dregs, take it into nightfall or raids and it's true worth will be revealed in all its glory. Buddy I tried defending it for a while, I too have a 32 Hunter which does make this Pop gun a little better but be honest a hallowed knight dies of boredom before this gun wounds him

5 RepliesNeeds a stability and ROF buff and it would be lovely. They wont buff damage because pvpers get sandy giners about it but I feel like the ROF and stability would make it alot more fun to use and way more viable. I figure it would work well since is got plenty of ammo.

2 RepliesYeah I had a buddy using it on nightfall yesterday morning. Boy did he think he was chewing everything up. I was using my fang and our other friend was using his fate bringer. When it was all said and done I had 132 kills other dude had 107 and necro boy had 45. But boy oh boy there were a lot of packing peanuts flying around. I wonder what bungie was thinking when they made the necrochasm...
