Fallen v.s. Hive v.s. Vex v.s. Cabal
What group would win? Took the idea from - ghost59 - post. But his poll was Fallen, Vex, and Cabal v.s. Hive. Credit for the idea of this post goes entirely to -ghost59 - enjoy! :)
Fallen have good weapons/technology
Hive have strength in numbers
Vex can space/time travel
Cabal have massive shields/defense
I personally chose the Vex. Due to their ability to space/time travel.

this is tough. I think the fallen would choose not to get involved and would never be able to be completely wiped out because they are cowards and run away, and they are also the weakest (i mean edz dregs are kinda just big bugs). The cabal have the power to win and military might, but i feel like their species isnt that special and they dont have any good advantages besides their military, especially compared to the hives connection with the darkness and the vex with their time traveling and reality warping. That leaves us with the hive and vex, which is tough. I think overall the hive are stronger, but the vex have a single concious that is connected to all of them through vex milk. They are also very cunning and want to transform the universe for themselves, becoming gods. I think the hive would win becasue of the darkness and intelligence, but i think the vex would just time travel or escape to another universe before they are defeated.

1 ReplyThats wrong by the way the hive is the most power and its the sad truth the fallen maybe the weakest the hive were a very weak race but they became powerful when there queens became god like they wiped many races and they opened a rift where the vex came out into our world but then the hive wiped out the vex in that reality or dimension the remaining vex remain in our dimension only if you like to know more just Google destiny's lore is very awesome and ull find good videos

1 ReplyVex is not interested in just winning wars and taking over planets, their ambition is beyond even Dominus Ghaul's comprehension. Vex is interested in creating tech capable of reality warping on the scale of the entire universe, or even multiverse, combined with the ability of time travel. They are essentially trying to master space time manipulation via technology and becoming Gods. They already have time travel nailed down, and they had the Vault of Glass as a working reality warping prototype. They are probably busy putting their tech on a larger scale without letting people knowing.

Hive, two reasons one because they have interacted with the deep aka the darkness directly and made a pact with the disciples of the deep they weren't just controlled. Two oryx and his sisters one we know the taken king is dead yes but his sisters which were at sometimes known to be more cunning then he was are both still alive. And two if any race managed to bring the hive to their knees which the vex cannot replicate their thrones worlds perfectly so it would be doubt IF they could cripple the hive. I thing they would have to answer to the worms, the worms are their gods. I mean we haven't even met the real hive bosses yet. Black garden psh wait until they feel the wrath of the worms of the fundament

Fallen, heres why: Fallen are scattered. There on Earth, the Moon, Mars, Venus, basically everywhere. They also are fighting each other (houses are often at war) whilst fighting Guardians, Vex, Cabal and Hive. If they were weaker, the houses would have been picked off 1 by 1 and they would be extinct. If the houses came together, they would win. Also, they have invis, wall climbing and can revive each other with Ether. Reply if you disagree (which I'm sure people will) PS: Vex can't time travel freely. If they did, the traveller, humanity and all the other race wouldn't exist. Its obviously not just something they can do easily. PSS: Fallen are my favourite in design too. Crab-Spider post-apocolyptic scavengers in ships with homing bullets and invisible assassins.

If the hive pantheon were involved then the hive would win. They've already beaten the Vex, the Fallen, and the Cabal. Not to mention they have the capability to commune with the deep, and summon its power.

The vex would notice the war and then just go back in time and stop any of the factions themselves from even existing just by alternating the slightest piece of time therefore stopping anything of existing in the first place including the traveler needing to come to earth. Stopping guardians, the traveller, everything. Possibly even time itself. Nobody wins.

Edited by iwood71: 5/24/2015 5:01:58 AMLook the award goes to the hive because Toland the shattered who has basically talked to the darkness itself to figure out its secrets has said that Crota is a mere child compared to the hive higher ups like oryx and the second place would go to the vex because the Gorgons decide what is and isn't reality just by thinking it so to stop them you must either avoid them entirely or hit them so hard that they die before they can do anything but their influence lies only to the vault where as the hive claimed the moon through Crota so he obviously can do major damage even beyond his little cave place and also in the grimiores it says that Crota exits in his own dimension that was shaped by his will alone and again he is only a child compared to the hive gods

The Vex can manipulate time. I think that trumps everything as they can just go back to whenever these other races were in their infancy and snuff them out.

The Vex have technology and time travel on there side along with Atheon (he only has power in the vault though). The hive have Crota and ancient magic and power on their side. The Fallen are scavenger's who can magically survive through anything. They also have that Archon who also took position as a kell in the HoW teaser. They have Aksor, Draksis, Riksis, and the Ultra Captain. Along with Sepiks Prime. I think the fallen win because they are scavengers, they will find a way to survive even in the most dire situations. They have powerful ranks and advanced technology. Thats my opinion. Some people may argue that the Vex could go back in time and stop the fallen from ever existing, but if so. There must be a good reason why they haven't and/or couldn't. Second place would be the Cabal because the Flayers can move planets out of orbit (refer to Flayer grimoire card), they also blow up planets for getting in there way which is OMG op. However, there must be a reason they haven't blown up the earth yet, and thats why they don't beat the fallen. Not sure about the other 2 though.

I think it would be a pretty even fight regardless of which groups throw down but the cabal basically blow up shit just because they don't want to go around it...so my vote goes to the planet destroyers

5 Repliesin theory, the vex would win, but actually in-game, I don't think any faction could effectively fight due to the game mechanics. Destiny uses the High attack-low health player vs low attack-high health AI's. Essentially, It makes PvE balanced because you die much faster than enemies but you're weapons do much more damage. So if two AI's fight each other, they would both have high health and low damage output, meaning it would take way to long to kill a single enemy.

If they weren't, they would just go back in time to keep me from killing them. Sure, they can teleport. So why don't they just teleport straight to the confluxes? It's cause Vex are dummmmmmb. Plus, I can just blow up Mercury. I think we could make a truce with the Fallen, and then easily wipe out the hive. A vandal will be our Swordbearer. Cabal will win.

The fallen can actually resurrect their dead using their left over ether. Thats what rushes out of their bodies upon precision kill.

2 RepliesCabal are the strongest they can destroy planets just for getting in their way. So obviously they have alot more fire power that we havnt experienced yet. Pretorians are strong but i think a collosus would melt a pretorian with his gattling gun. Remember Valus Ta'arac needed to be nerfed. Dont remember any other bosses ever needing a nerf.
