December Titan Nerf.

Forgemaster reduced by 20% there are many situations where hammers fall close to other guardians where you'd think they'd be taken out and aren't. I don't feel that the blast radius is overly large. 20% seems like a bit much. Flameseeker reduced by 25%..That's a ridiculous amount, the hammers aren't seeking targets even close to the degree that rocket launchers do. With how much everyone is complaining about hammers you'd think that they were tracking targets like rockets fired from Truth. This just isn't so. Decrease in damage resistance? Everyone is whining that it's hard to kill a Titan during hammer time..That's the point of a super. It's supposed to be harder to kill a player with their super active. Has anyone tried to kill a storm caller while he's doing his thing? Or a hunter while he's flinging arrows and cancels all of your offensive abilities and disorients you? Or perhaps a hunter during the bladedancer super? They zip around and are literally impossible to put rounds on and then there's the healing factor that gives them way too much staying power (bladedancer needs a good nerfing). It's hard to kill any of the classes while super is active and that's the point of it. A short period in which a player can be OP and act as a force multiplier. From my experience it's just as hard to kill a storm caller during their super as it is to kill a titan during theirs. The data shows that Titans are wrecking in crucible, perhaps that's because there are a lot of sunbreakers playing in comparison to other classes. They're a lot of fun to play with. It's numbers, if you have more sunbreakers playing of course it's going to show that they are doing serious damage. Bungie, I love your products but I think once again you might be screwing the pooch again with this nerf/buffing business. What does everyone else think?

    • Yeah I finally get to enjoy my titan now, why make his supers weak, Titans has been in the cellar since year one. Blade dancers has been hard to stop since Destiny inception. I don't even know why people complain when they can also be a Titan. :(

            • Yes i have tried to kill a storm caller. And a shotgun melee works all the time. Have you tried to kill a SB with that strategy? Because it doesn't work

            • instead of just addressing titans, they shouldve addressed all classes. giving a MUCH needed buff to hunters in both pve and pvp. they shouldve changed cauterize so it just heals off grenade kills. warlock can heal off melee, hunters can heal off super, so titans should heal off nades. the fact that the sunbreaker can still kill with any solar ability and instantly regen to full health still leaves the sunbreaker as by far the most overpowered class in the game. i also dont see why they buffed striker sooo much. now the one shot storm fist will reliably one shot and not just low armor hunters or warlocks, but now at an increased range! besides the very beginning, titans have always been the best class for both pve, and pvp. sure warlocks can self res, but a titan would never die in the first place. i think giving all classes the same base stats would better balance the game and make specing your skill tree actually have any effect at all. getting 3 kills with quiver is incredibly difficult due to the timer going down exponentially fast, the shooting time taking forever, quiver shots never take a super unless a direct hit, and the shadowshot doesnt even reliably kill any guardian with an overshield or an increased health/dmg resistance super. even when tethering takes a super, it takes a couple secs to register leaving the tether victim plenty of time to kill the tetherer making it useless. it should kill whatever it touches garanteed(which can only be one thing), and reduce the time it takes to tether. im not a fanboy or hater of any classes or subclasses, these are just my opinions. been a day 1 player, put in thousands of hours in this game. love/hated every moment. hate more often than not

              • If you can't kill a blade dancer, stormcaller, or a quiver you need better aim and more playing. Its not that difficult. Snipe or shotgun and made. Blade dancer is already terrible and if you think it needs another nerf then you shouldn't be playing this game. The health regen is norm time and not instantly unlike sunbreakers

                • Its numbers? That's why y1 trials was mainly golden gun? Yet they didn't need a Nerf? I wonder why? Is it cause the gg is normal and not op? If you think titans are good and sunbreaker is normal then whatever helps you sleep at night right?

                    • Yes Nathanwinter86 I agree , Titans have always had the worst supers and this is the only long charged super which can last for more than a millisecond for Titans , the hammer seeking was never powerful enough for a Nerf let alone 25% , I now this because every time I threw it with the perk on it only moved a centimetre on the screen closer to the target , but it certainly doesn't go 90 degrees around a corner or anything like that if anything it should be getting a buff . Apart from that I always thought that it was easy to kill Titans (well maybe not easy) it has much less health than any other duration based super (I'm not sure if blade dancer has less health but you can barely shoot it and your only chance is a shotgun) and there aren't too many perks for the titan , all we have is healing from a kill and my personal favourite the shoulder charge (even though I'm the only one who uses it) aside that in the right hands it can be a powerful super , but nothing compared to storm caller , storm caller is the most op super in the crucible , you don't know how many times if been killed by one , and don't now say that you could kill it with a hammer because I've died a lot , I mean ALOT with my super active , I was once going around a corner straight into a storm caller and I shotguned it twice and I still died . It has too much health , it lasts way too long , has a lot of power and I think it it doesn't take as much effort to kill a enemy in the crucible than sunbreaker , with sunbreaker you have to aim carefully and try and hit the enemy , and if the hammer goes even an inch of the target , they will live , but with storm caller you just look at a person shoot and they dead in a flash , I think that the hunters bow is fine , don't touch it bungie , but instead of taking the most powerful super we have as Titans , focus on the warlocks , they have blink , with nova bomb (which has way better tracking) it has the solar one (I forgot the name) which makes the only reason people can solo oryx (but I have to admit it has saved the team a lot of times) and finally it has storm caller , I know bungie you prefer warlocks the most but I think they are the most op class in destiny , don't take it out on Titans , take it out in warlocks.

                            As far as the defense thing goes... I thought Titans were tanks. Tanks are heavily armored, and move relatively slow. Also, Titans are meant to lock down an area, not hunt people down.

Cut your crying. If something is broken, fix it. In Crucible, it's obvious what rules in supers. That's the problem! No class should be on the bandwagon by the majority. This community is brain-dead. The people "complaining" actually want a nerf because it's affecting them! If someone was making a commotion in your neighborhood, would you call the cops and make a complaint? In this analogy, Bungie is the police. Is that what feedback is about? Praise the good and away with the bad!

Every time they nerf a class because a bunch of crybabies get butthurt because that class screws up there k/d, it just ruins the game a little more!!!! Killing a titan is not that hard, but if they can't brag about their k/d then there not happy. Keep it up crybabies, pretty soon there will be no point in even using supers!!!

                                • I totally agree with you man. If your not in crucible don't play it. And if you get in crucible make sure you understand that you will die a lot of your not good. Practice In crucible and get better. I have shot su breakers in the head and killed them ending them in their super. It's hard but it can be done. Leave things as they are!

                                • Bladedancer Kill: Two or three shotgun blasts. Running a BD is almost not feasible and was really only a great idea on the game's initial launch. I see A LOT more Gunslingers (ZERO def bonus) and even more Nightstalkers (still very little def bonus) than I do Bladedancers. Stromcaller: Agreed. But, their def bonus only needs a very slight nerf. SLIGHT. Really, my only problem with this update is that they're buffing Striker defenses during super. They can ALREADY take 3 GS shots before keeling over. What the hell, Bungie?

                                  • I think everyone is just using the sunbreaker because it's such a cool subclass tbh. I agree that the hammers needed a little nerf but I think this might have killed sunbreakers. Just a word of advice in advance Bungie, plz nerf stormcallers. I am almost 100% sure that now everyone is going to complain about lightning hands now that hammers are not a big threat.

                                    • bladedancers are rediculously easy to gun down as well as stormcallers. if a super is supposed to be a short time which a player can be op, it should be a short time when only a titan is op. IT SHOULD BE A SHORT TIME WHEN ANYONE IS OP! more sunbreakers doesnt neccessarily mean theyre automatically gonna wreck. its actually quite simple and quite opposite. its because they wreck is why theres so much of them. people use good guns because their good, but a lot of people using a gun doesnt make the gun itself good.
