Stop saying no to us
I'm tired of you telling me how I'm going to play my game that I gave you money for.
[b]People want trading.[/b] Unless you're completely overhauling the loot system this "You can take a look at a person's weapon and know exactly what they did to get it." Is a bunch of horse piss. Read the forms, most people get stuff by just being in pvp, no regard to skill, no regard for K/D just strictly RNG.
So what story comes from that? "I played pvp, not only did I not score a kill I didn't fire single shot...except when I shot at the water for a bit. Next thing I know I get an exotic. [b]I AM THE LEGENDZ[/b]."
Trading will not ruin this legend crap one bit. If anything it would get more social. Helping each other and trading is something that's fun to do and is in most mmo's.
[b] We have requested matchmaking in all strikes.[/b] I honestly don't have any friends who own both a ps4 and destiny. So what the heck am I to do when I hit lvl 26? Twiddle my thumbs while I wait for people to send and accept request? Just match make us. Sure we may get a troll now and again but just add a kick system.
These are features not just I, but judging by the forms lots of people are requesting. What you want doesn't matter. You need to make your community happy. If I'm a Hunter with a Titan head piece let me trade with a titain who has a Hunter head piece. Afterwards I want to hop into a strike without having to round up a group. Stop making crap complicated.

This game is awesome without trading. Trading breaks games, supports the idea of cheating (botting), and doesn't allow you to develop your characters on your own the way the game was designed to be played. Give me one good reason to promote trading?

You paid for access to their world, and they owe you nothing. You don't demand that a movie studio change the endings of their movies to suit your desires, so what makes you think that can make demands here? There is a difference making demands and offering suggestions. You should learn it. You just sound like an entitled prick.

2 RepliesLiterally any time you need help with a strike or raid you can just come on the forums and make a post and you will have people helping you in minutes. Or you can join a clan and bam you have tons of people ready to play with you. The lack of matchmaking is a little irritating but it's completely feasible to work around it.

I, for one, would much rather have weapons balanced better, as well as raid gear, to keep real money from exchanging hands for items. It easily becomes a scam system and can really hurt both the game balance and player enjoyment. Even having the random loot system works well because it keeps people from farming particular bosses/drops and controlling the economy when trading does go live. A great fiction book that addresses this idea is 'For The Win', it shows the problems that arise in video game economies while remaining entertaining.

6 RepliesJust because you paid money for a game doesn't mean you own it. You own the right to play it, not the game itself. You own a copy of files on a disc, not all of Destiny. They are the creators of the game and it is they who have the right to create and alter the game as they see fit. You as the consumer have the right to buy or not buy the game. If you don't like something, ask them to change it on the forums. If you receive enough support they might do something. If not, oh well. Obviously there aren't enough people backing the idea. Remember this idea. Vote with your wallet. That vote has a larger impact than any forum post. You don't like what a game is doing? Don't buy it. Wait until they fix it then buy it. If you've already bought it, return it if you feel that strongly about it. If you bought digital, well... Looks like you just learned a lesson about why buying digital is bad. I for one like the game as it is and look forward eagerly to see where it's going. If they implemented a trading system, then gear would be far to easy to get. You could have full raid gear without doing anything but grinding glimmer or something. The only trading system I'd like to see if ship/sparrow/shader trading (except for stuff earned 'achievement' style, like the "Chatterwhite" shader).
