Do you ever stop think it's a little strange that game designers cling to this trend of adding silly spray painted comments, threats, epithets, warnings, and nonsensical scribbles all over the environments?
I mean, there's a posthumanxenomorphviralplaguelunatickillingmachine hot on my heels. Why the hell would I take the time to locate spray paint (is there some secret, home-depot-spray-paint-stash in these games?) and then waste precious seconds to spray WHAT HAPPENS WHEN THE FOOD RUNS OUT? to some other poor condemned nipple nut whom I couldn't give two shits about?

Maybe it's like when you were in school and wanted to write "X was here" even though you knew you would be caught because of it. Then again I think it's just to add onto the whole derelict location feel. Since a run down location would probably be tagged and graffitied by different people because there would be no cops around to catch them...but seriously, who would waste time to write "NO ONE EVER SURVIVES" on a wall instead of running for the exit?
