The idea of a raid is not just here we are these 3 know what to do its to train you for aspects witch you can not predict. make you stronger as a whole not for the rights to say I beat the Vault...but for the rights To Say WE beat the Vault. come on buck up and make sure every one on your team knows there potential jobs. look at this raid from an older pc game (ps any one who played this will tell you it took forever to complete and get here to that point and required skill and togetherness to complete ) http://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/quest.html?quest=4479
and u guys are upset about it being a random 3 people
Someone who knows what they are talking about. These players want to act like they are the best, but complain about it teleporting 3 random people. I want to see them trying to complete a real Raid.

 • I used to play WoW with 40-man raids. There were strategies to EVERY boss fight that required people to perform certain duties during the boss fights. The random factor takes out a lot of the strategy for the Atheon fight. Yes it's an easy enough fight if everybody does their job, but when people start messing up because they aren't used to doing something, then it makes the fight a lot harder. Bungie's entire argument against matchmaking is that it wants raids to require teamwork to complete these raids. Then when teams build solid strategies for these fights they come back and say "wait a minute, you guys developed too good of a strategy for this fight, so we are going to screw with the mechanics of the fight so your strategy goes out the window". So Bungie is in fact contradicting themselves with this change.

 • I feel like anyone doing a raid should know how to to every aspect of that raid. Even if they are helping newer players, learning how to use hte shield and destroying oracles is not a difficult concept to grasp.
