You don't want to see but knock his ass off the cliff there's no point in the hard mode raid anymore the vex gun is shit now so if you can push his ass off it's not worth it anymore fighting for -blam!-ing shards

Warlocks and hunters stay out side the portal. They can avoid the supplicants effectively and you need the Titans armor in the portal. The exceptions to this are if there aren't enough titans or if someone had raid weapons to kill the oracles. But warlocks with sunsinger must stay out incase everyone goes does then they can open the portal.

Our final phase strategy 2 teams of 3, outside team and portal team I play a gunslinger hunter and am on the portal team. Portal team stays at rear of room (where you spawn) the entire fight When portal team gets sucked into the portal I call out Venus or Mars to let the outside team know which portal to open One portal team member grabs shield and heads towards stairs, the other portal team member throws a grenade down the stairs towards the adds and then focuses on the first oracle that spawns above our heads. Meanwhile I throw my grenade at the adds as well and pop gunslinger and kill all the adds and put 1 shot on the big guy (I have the helm that gives +1 shot) - our shield guy normally just does one large R2 slam and kills the paethorean in 1 shot - this ensures he lives and is able to come cleans me and our other portal guy while we are clearing oracles. Portal team calls out when we are heading out of portal and I remind everyone to use their specials over-and-over again because they regenerate instantly. Portal team leaves portal and stands still until the shield guy comes through the portal and cleanses us. Then we head to the back of the room to blast the boss with our ice breakers / snipers / rockets until we get sucked into the portal. Rinse and repeat. Outside team has one member stand on pillar in the middle of the portal summoning circle to open the portal while the other two get somewhere safe such as on the top of the portal - away from the harpies.

How is knocking him off the edge a cheap tactic I've beaten strikes the same way I didn't mean to but I don't see how it is a cheap way of beating him and I've beaten him both ways

Communication would be the most important thing, then comes experience with the process of it all, then skill. Everything else for me doesn't matter.

We have been most successful with the relic in the middle tactic. Everyone hop in the bubble and unload. For whatever reason that seems to be our most reliable method.

If you're a Hunter, you're gonna wanna stay away from golden gun during Time's Vengeance. ROF is too slow and you can't get shots off fast enough. Grenades are your best friend and you should be pretending that the floor is lava(stay off the ground). If you're on the portal team, make sure to help your relic with the adds before hitting the oracles. If you're on the outside make sure there's no supplicants waiting for the portal team when they come back.
