Classes really do not matter in destiny.
I just want to let everyone know that the choice of class is merely a preference to what you want to play as. No class will hold a specific job as it relates to a fire team. This as been stated by bungie numerous times in numerous videos. So please pay attention and stop posting class requirements for raid teams.

false. certain classes support certain playstyles better, while some classes offer support/utility skills through cdr, additional orbs of light, shield/buffs to other members, etc

pretty sure you're going to need someone "tanky", someone who can deal a **** load of damage per second, and someone who can restore health, once you reach a certain difficulty level. 3 dps classes can only get you so far, once the bosses start hitting for more damage than you can take / sustain, kiss your group goodbye when failing to dodge 1 single attack = someone gets 1-shot killed if there isn't a Defender in the group.

2 RepliesHunters seem least effective in a raid, But who knows, Maybe they have way more trash mob clearing ability than others such as Sunsinger or Defender

Won't know for certain till the game releases, goes for both sides though. All of it is just assumptions right now as with 90% of all forum posts here, assumptions.
