Yeah... raid weapons as normal loot is not it
I don't see any reason why succession and forbearance needed to be a part of the weapons pool. there already in the game and there was a million other options, instead this just feels lazy, where's alone as a God where's revoker where's kindled orchid and wheres the 50+ weapons from levy and black armory that could of been easily chosen from, I hope I'm wrong and there's more weapons then what was shown, final thoughts and my biggest problem is Raid weapons in normal loot pools just doesn't feel right at all and shouldn't be a thing it feels extremely lazy

It’s to get kids to see how good raid gear is and get them to want to buy the expansions old and new to do the raids

5 RepliesNot everyone enjoys running the same raids over and over for another weapon . Its a way for bungie to spread the loot around for all the players to use. Eventually all the weapons will be obtainable other ways with or without running raids. As the player base slows down its that smart -play on bungies part to get the weapons in the hands of all players and bring back some player base.

To be fair, I have seen people ask for more accessible raid weapons. As a raider myself, I feel this is a good way to satisfy that ask without undermining the raids or their respective weapons.

4 RepliesAnd why is that? Raids are boring and not rewarding. The more weapons are obtainable outside such a chore activity the better it's for the game.

Succession was a staple to shoot nezeracs shoulders and chest in the raid for many in charge of that role. Forbearance is a staple for fast easy add clear. The want everyone to have the chance to get these guns going against the bad guy of the story. I mean, you don't have to play onslaught and go for those guns...but the origin trait is spicy.

Why are people whining like all the raid weapons are in the upcoming loot pool? It's a whopping total if 2 from several raids.

It’s just a carrot on a stick for the people who don’t own the expansions. Give ‘em a taste of raid weapons so they maybe open their wallets. Just like how dares was an unlimited heavy ammo showcase for buying Ghorn.

5 RepliesI just don't get why they had to pick weapons that we can already get in the game. What is stopping me from loading up Deep Stone or Vow and farming those weapons right now? Personally, I would have picked Atheon's Epilogue and Hunger of Crota. Both were infamous in Destiny's history for their own reasons, and both got left out when their respective Raids came to D2.

Anybody remember imago loop (reskin of fatebringer), tread upon stars (reskin of vision of confluence) , grasp of malok (reskin of oversoul edict) and no shadow 701x (reskin of fang of it yut) i remember and everybody loved them right? (Don’t think anybody remembered the reskinned scout, but it’s still a reskin of a raid weapon).

3 RepliesEdited by Hawpy: 3/27/2024 10:11:57 AMForbearance here is letting everyone use arguably the best PvE special weapon in the game before it gets nerfed in TFS, so I don't mind that it's a) a Raid weapon, and b) still currently available. Succession makes absolutely no sense though; Snipers aren't really "in" right now, it's not flashy enough to make people want to start Raiding for other weapons and The Supremacy is already available to non-Raiders through Riven's Wishes. That slot could have been used on many better options.

4 RepliesThere should be a contest to see which side of Destiny players asks for handouts more, PvE or PvP players lol It's crazy to justify raid loot outside of a raid. "It's another source of loot for people who don't raid". But that's just it, that's your choice and your problem. I'm not talking about people who can't raid, I'm talking about those who choose not to. Why diminish other content to strictly fulfill your wants? This literally sounds like everything needs to cater to you. Should the Vex Mythoclast be available outside of the raid too? Why raid at all? There'd be no point, nothing to strive for. I don't know man, if I want something that bad, I go for it. Got my vex and then some and happy it wasn't handed to me. I don't have time to raid like I used to, but I'd never ask for that content to be devalued and diminished like this.
