It seem like every other game is a mercy. It’s not fun. I know it maybe good for YouTuber guys and their views, but for us who are average at best, deserve to enjoy the game too.

Bring back D1 year one crucible matrix and it would be fun again. Even with stasis because guns actually performed well and you could shutdown a shotgun press with a last word or you could snipe someone that was shooting you with primary. D1 year 1 crucible was by far and away the best crucible has ever been. Took actual skill. The high skill ceiling guns like hand cannons and snipers were king but they were also the guns that took the most skill and practice to be good with. Spray and pray guns and shotgun pushing is all fine and good it just shouldn’t be the meta.
-
It’s really just stasis sweat daddy hunters at this point, they’re practically unbeatable with stasis in a 1v1 scenario, they have so many good exotics to support them, if we remove hunters and force them to play classes that take actual skill, then pvp would be fine

People -blam!- and moaning about CBMM really goes to show how insatiable the Destiny community is. In D1, all you'd hear from people was complaints on how poor SBMM (which it was),how it was pairing people from Britain to Australia and making the crucible a sweat-fest. Now Bungie finally do add CBMM, and people are still complaining. Leave CBMM, it works, it means there's now a casual and competitive playlists, else there'd be a competitive and a competitive playlist.

Idk what is going on but I’ve never seen lag as bad as it was this weekend. Gambit and crucible. It be really shitty.
-
High level players and streamers want easy kills to farm without matching players at their own skill level, they like not having a challenge, weird flex... I still will play PVP, mostly cause usually there is a quest I am working on, or a build I am testing.

Edited by AshThaSupreme: 12/3/2020 1:38:00 AMMans is not cappin either literally just got out of a game where we had the team 50+ to 10+ and at the end of the f*****g game they win 147 to 146 pvp in this game is beyond anyone’s understanding I swear 😂
It seem like every other game is a mercy. It’s not fun. I know it maybe good for YouTuber guys and their views, but for us who are average at best, deserve to enjoy the game too.
Really cause I'm an average pvp player and I might have 1 try hard sweat in my lobbies every 15 matches

Edited by BraddyBo: 12/3/2020 1:17:58 AMSure but only with tiered progression. The best players need to be rewarded literally 6-7 times more loot/currency/xp/valor/bounty progression over the worst players to compensate for the huge gap in skill. Without that, sbmm needs to stay dead.
-
The problem is cheaters and laggers, not SBMM.
-
We need region lock more. 9 times out of 10, the lobby superstar is some guy on the other side of the world. The lag has been real since SBMM went away. I shouldn’t have to play against such people, but I’ll just keep blocking them on PSN until Bungie gets off their asses.

Have you tried getting better?

Edited by TheCyo: 11/30/2020 1:45:28 PMPlease tell me if this feels right: In Destiny a new player is expected to learn playing PvP in a Competitive Ladder (SBMM) and not Quickplay. Only if he feels that he learned enough and is ready, he may try the "casual" Quickplay. But of course he will still get farmed by the 50+ defeats guys anyway. Oh, and just by pressing the directional keys and roughly aiming in the direction of the opponents he will reach at least 2500 glory points. Destiny is the only shooter that uses SBMM in a competitive ladder system. So, to all advocates of the the current system, you guys think this is a good spot for PvP to be in?

Honestly, it’s not the matchmaking algorithm. Crucible is just kinda awful, tbh. We’re playing a Frankenstein of a pvp mode, maps designed for 4v4 primary weapon engagements are now chaotic 6v6 special weapon hell, where you are either laned by snipers or rushed by shotgun apes. And that’s not even mentioning the ability imbalance, which has been exacerbated to an absurd degree by stasis. Just give up on crucible, it’s never going to be a balanced, fun experience, so just take your mercy rules, get your pinnacles, and get the hell out and go do something else that’s more worth your time/less frustrating.
-
Who knows what's in the game already. I get 5 brain dead teammates 5 games in a row and then 1 mercy and then repeat. This is just cancer.
-
Imagine playing PvP outside of quest requirements
-
i enjoy it!
-
They need to bring back Skirmish that will great for the people who are try hards and play sweats add sbmm for that and it will be good the people who want 3v3 sbmm
-
I'll say the same thing I've said about the absurd SBMM that's in MW and BO, it isn't fun getting a 1.0 every game, and it especially isn't fun being punished for doing well. There is no room for improvement. Yes you may get better, I definitely got better at MW as I played but I never really noticed because I was just getting put up against better players. The best you can really be in sbmm games is exceptionally average. That's boring.
-
Absolutely, positively NOT You want sbmm? Go play competitive modes. Casual ones should absolutely be cbmm
-
MAKE IT OPTIONAL. FOR GOD SAKE. All these people whine and b*tch about which type of matchmaking is best, WHY CAN'T WE PLEASE BOTH SIDES?!?! "Waaaaa I want SBMM" "Hurr durr Go PlAy CoMpEtItIvE" Shut Up. All of ya.

Please no. I will always choose better connection over more balanced skill.
-
Nope. Play comp for 5 minutes and then try and tell me you like sbmm.
-
NO Burn it #SUNSET PVP

I know it prbly makes it more fun for you. But the player base dropped 80.000 at te least times with sbmm during large periods. That’s why bungie reverse the sbmm changes. Lobby balance is still a think. And honestly I think that the sbmm is not your issue but the lobby balance I am a above avrg player and aften get mercy rule now and my team go’s 0.5 or lower because of lobby balance.
