I think too many folks use these posts to just advance their own stories. "Name sits and does a thing, awaiting someone to talk to them so they can dump exposition." Or they try to flip conversations to them instead. "Hey how's it going? Oh that thing sure sounds like a thing, speaking of things, let me tell you about my thing!" There ain't enough genuine conversations. Not enough mundane banter compared to the folks studying their ancient artifacts and super weapon schematics in a very loud, public location. It just breaks immersion ya know? People come to bars to drink and chill, but here it's like half the folks are important NPCs with limited dialogue options to railroad you into accepting a quest. Idk, just wanted to say a thing thats been on my mind for a bit, but in a silly way. Ima go back to being dead now.
