Nobody wants to do Spire of Stars...
I haven’t been able to attempt SoS solely from the lack of willing participants. It seems like everyday, less people are on Leviathan. Finding a team for Prestige is already a hassle; luckily I completed it this week.
The only part I’ve actually done in SoS is the first encounter. And that’s it. One person left because no one knew where and how to get the chest (it’s just a -blam!-ing chest). Anyway, I’m stuck with a checkpoint at the Celestial Observatory.
I already know that the final boss is infested with mechanics.
What’s even more crazy, is when Solstice of Heroes starts on July 31, I wonder who hell is going to do EoW and SoS Prestige, when 90% of the community can’t be bothered to even complete normal mode...
Edit: I was actually expecting more “Lazy asf”, but I guess you guys don’t really care for it. Shame.

Tried it a couple of times but lost interest . Armor is UaF, jumping puzzle and boss are glitchy sometimes and the weapons are sitting in my vault.

2 RepliesIt's not an easy raid for casual raiders going in blind. People say throwing around the balls is easy. But for a new team without a confident quarterback, the group gets disbanded rather quickly. Added to this, you need everyone to be competent with the ball and the throwing mechanics. Too many times have I joined lfg groups where 1 incompetent guy is the sole reason we fail Sos.

6 RepliesDo people not know how to use the recruitment forum? I see posts for Spire of Stars all the time, I see people offering to carry noobies through it too. You haven't cleared it yet so you have to set your expectations pretty low in terms of what teammates you'll get, but putting a group together should be no problem. It's just up to you to clear it.

1 ReplyI think a lot of raiders have had enough of infested mechanics. Mechanics I have no problem with but bungie attempts are lazy and stupid who the hell wants to set foot on the notorious leviathan and throw balls around. Seriously?

4 RepliesNo problems for me over on XB1. Ran it for the first time, saw several other newbie teaching LFGs too. Its pretty tough, but its really rewarding watching the teamwork get slowly dialled in.

5 RepliesIt all boils down to how well your teammates are. The mechanics really aren’t that hard, aksis and oryx were much harder. It’s really just passing a few balls around and moving back and forth on plates.

1 ReplyI would say currently most casual players are not a high enough level yet to be efficient in the raid. Not to mention the raid is still pretty new and there arent many people who can be considered guides to help others through the raid. Your better off finding a group to practice with every week and beat it with them. Whats the point in finding fireteam after fireteam to do raids and stuff with if your only inevitably going to leave and find a new one later? Find one, stick with them, and beat all the raids on a weekly basis.
