Hey guys, when I click "play" to open Destiny 2. For a brief moment I see the intro of the game? Like for a split second there's a light-gray background with the lines that look like a satanic circle(?) Then it freezes and the screen goes black, but I don't crash, it stays open and I hear the music but I just can't do anything.
Does anyone have this issue?
I'm playing on an 2 year old laptop but I'm sure my specs fall within the required specs.
Any help would be appreciated!! Thanks!
Edit: It appears some laptops are unable to go full-screen, I'm not sure if this is the case for mine but how would I go launching it in windowed mode to see if that's the case?

Well it's February 2018 and this problem persists. Half the time I go to the Traveler I'm standing in a black screen. I hear voices but I can't see anything. Loading into another area and back again doesn't help; going back to the starting menu doesn't help; restarting the game doesn't help. Can this get fixed, please?

I have the same issue, but this video provides a fix - https://youtu.be/sbL4ORK7a7c. Easy enough, just turn your monitor off and back on again. Works like a charm! However, I am not sure what the analog is to turning your monitor off on a laptop.

Hell, I play on a beast of a PC that is far above the specs needed and I get the same issue. Probably 1 out of 10 tries actually open the game for me.

I had the same issue, You can check my post here; https://www.bungie.net/en/Forums/Post/236746261?sort=0&page=0 I don`t know if it will help you though being you are on a laptop, so the way I got down to what was messing with mine was; shut down all the background processes, and keep trying. I started with the task manager and shut stuff down. When that was exhausted I started with the ones that are pinned to start with my OS in the bottom right corner. That`s how I found that my CUE was my culprit. Hope this helps!
