What's it like smoking that Kush in Amsterdam?

I get on and crack jokes from time to time but I usually stay pretty positive. It aggravates the sh!t out of me at times but all in all, I love this game! I dabbled a bit in Halo but it was always CoD that I played hardcore because that's what all my friends played. I started out solo in Destiny and missed out on a lot of things in the start of the game because of that, but over the last few months, I've met a lot of ppl that I game with from all over the world. I work a month on/month off schedule so I still miss out on some things but it also gives me something to look forward to in my time off. There's a lot of hate from people but they still play everyday just like the ones who actually love this game. Glad to see a positive post and good luck gaming!

The boredom will come, friends you helped will no longer need helping, your vault will be overflowing with weapons, armor, and materials and the biggest bosses will be laughing stocks you can slay in your sleep. It's psychologically impossible to do something so repetitive for so long and not get bored. I'm not hating friend, and I'm not trying to be a stuck up nerd. But it's true. 50 year old widowed grandma here, named Toni. I play Destiny every day. Yesterday I did the whole set of current stuff: nightfall, heroic weekly, PoE 32, 34, 35 on my warlock. My Titan is doing them today. Tomorrow, my hunter. Then I will do the raids on all three. Still need elemental primaries for the Titan and Hunter from VOG, and lots of etheric light. The one thing in the game I don't do is Trials, as I am just not that good at PVP. But I did run all three to level five in Iron Banner and will do it again next time it is up. I mute the haters. At this point in my life, if I want to hear whiny people with no Damned good reason to whine, I just go to work.

I took a seven month break from the game and it was the best decision I could've made. I've been back for a few weeks and I'm really enjoying it again. It's a severely flawed game, but it's fun for what it is. I think a lot of people's problem is that they take Destiny way too fûcking seriously because they think it's a hardcore game -- it's not, it's a casual game. Constructive criticism is one thing, terrible two level tantrums are something else entirely and unfortunately, this forum strays to the latter a lot more than the former. But, like I said: I'm having fun... I wouldn't be playing it if I wasn't.

Isn't loving Destiny like loving your first girlfriend on an isolated island with no other girls to tempt you? So naturally you love her or "think" you love her. What I mean is most people on Destiny I meet in fireteams for raids, poe and trials do not and have not played many or any other games. I ask "anyone played Witcher 3?" Nope "Anyone played shadow of mordor?" Nope. "Anyone played Bloodborne? Nope. "Anyone played Last of us?" Nope. "Anyone played the evil within?" Nope. I enjoy Destiny like a good old fashioned, nice about once a week maybe but more than that and it gets old. PS4 has so many good games I enjoy these days but people are so addicted to Destiny they are blind to them. But yeah lets be positive about Destiny!

I don't mind criticism of the game. In most cases, it makes the game better for everyone! I just dislike outright complaining or vitriol. It helps no one.

The whiners are the vocal minority. That's just how it is. The Internet has given every conceited asshole and whiney 12 year old kid a voice and allows them to hide behind anonymity. And many of them have chosen to use that voice to take every opportunity they possibly can to complain about anything and everything they can think of. There's plenty of people still playing and genuinely enjoying the game. They're just not as loud as the ones that aren't. Glad you're among the rest of us that are enjoying the game for what it is. Personally I'm sticking around to see where Bungie goes with this game. We've only scratched the surface of the massive potential this franchise has. The game has no choice but to evolve and progressively get better and I plan on being there for every update and upgrade (assuming I have the time and money for it haha).

I honestly enjoy the game alot! Just recently started playing pvp a bit more. I enjoy playing with friends, that's what keeps me coming back to it

I had one post match hate message, and the guy totally apologized a day later for his comments. Been here since day one and everyone has been pretty cool. Online. I love it too. But I can't plat multiplayer games right now. Not sure if it's my router. Played for a whole year and yesterday it decided it didn't want to anymore. Any suggestions. I can still use Netflix and stuff just no multiplayer. And sometimes I can't sign in
