I still haven't had a gjallerhorn and my grimoire is 2690, did raids over 100 times, strikes loads, nightfalls every week and everything else, i've found exotics in crucible but not quite the best ones, i never found an icebreaker for ages, but i found one a week before xur come than he sold it and i've found 2 since that day, i've had friends that already have a gjallerhorn find one when i'm in there, it's stupid tbh..
