Okay, so xur has been a maga douche so far since the start of the new year. Guardians everywhere are running out of heavy ammo and lovely bungie is taking their sweet ass time and not fixing the heavy ammo loss till later this month. We need heavy, and we need glimmer. A few months back i was playing VoG, and my buddy and i noticed something, the yellow bar hobgoblins on gatekeeper drop a good amount of glimmer. We switched characters, swapped checkpoints. Came back when we were done and farmed those hobgoblins, and holy -blam!- they drop a lot of glimmer. In 45 minutes we were maxed. Its far faster than exclusion zone. The best method: 2-3 ppl. STICK TOGETHER, you both get glimmer off of eachother if you are close by. Use a blue polyphage. Work off eachothers supers. Dont kill the gate keeper. Once you kill all the yellow bars, jump off of the edge. In about a half hour of farming. We both had over 25 of those beads that are worth 200 glimmer. Plus all the glimmer just from killing them.
