Are there cars in Canada? I ask because I heard that it snows a lot and so I figured there would be to much snow and so you would need snow mobiles. Is this true?

The funny thing is in Edmonton they are seriously looking at something called a "freezeway". Basically a very long ice covered pathway that you could use to skate around downtown to go shopping or get to work. I love this country.
