Not surprised Sony sold them, they probably got a lot of money from selling them.

True. Plus SOE was a money pit for them and believe they lost them around $60 million last year so it was good for them to sell them off. Now depending on how much money they got what do they do next? Keep it for profit or buy a company like Capcom?

They do but they don't have a lot of money. I think a while back Capcom only had about $200 million which isn't a lot plus they removed their polices for a complete takeover of the Capcom company. http://www.nintendolife.com/news/2014/06/capcom_could_be_up_for_sale_after_shareholders_reject_anti_takeover_plan I mean they didn't even have enough money to make Street Fighter V until Sony stepped in and helped and wouldn't have came out until 2018. http://www.gamespot.com/articles/no-street-fighter-v-until-2018-capcom-producer/1100-6412556/

I thought it kind of interesting that there was no purchase price listed. This could be something as simple as the author not being able to find out, or because it was sold for such a low cost that naming an amount would be embarrassing. The latter has some interesting implications for the future of Daybreak's game development.

Ya it just said it was a disclosed sum which really isn't saying anything but we will probably find out later. I think Sony got an offer they couldn't refuse for SOE tbh. You would have to pay a lot since Nova Columbus for got SOE and it's IP's like DCUO, EverQuest, H1Z1, Planetside, Landmark and a bunch more.
