T4R. If you hate Nintendo, please tell me why you hate it, and vice-versa. I'm wondering because my friend on xbl hates anything with Nintendo....
He brought it up when I was getting off to play ssbm...
Inb4 #Gaming, this is a post about a video game company, not specific to a game in general so #offtopic

1 回复I like Nintendo, but they focus too much on nostalgia rather than bringing variety and originality with titles. You can only play so much Mario kart...

I will never, ever, ever, ever understand the level of brand loyalty people reach with consoles. People root for these damn things like sports teams. At that point, you are no longer an informed and powerful consumer. But instead a naive milking cow for mega corporations.

1 回复It is about a gaming company so still #gaming OT: I dislike Nintendo cause they have the same series of games year after year after year, if not that, then terrible ports.

I used to back in the SNES days (was a SEGA fanboy, even had a Nomad cause I refused to get a gameboy... Nomad WAS awesome though) but I've realized the error of my ways since then. You miss out on so much by shutting things out like that.

Like others have said they don't want to innovate. I respect them for what they did, i mean they made home consoles viable. And NES was my first system I remember getting. But come'on, make something new besides Mario Kart and Smash Brothers. Make a Nintendo exclusive that doesn't involve Yoshi, Mario, ANYONE from that franchise. However, I refuse to buy a WiiU until they make a GOOD Metroid game. Not that Other M crap. I know it's opposite of what I'm saying, but I love me some Metroid lol.

由trong编辑: 2/2/2015 3:12:01 PMI don't hate Nintendo, but I just think that their games lack diversity. For example, the most recent Mario Kart doesn't seem to really be much different from previous installments, other then graphics and such. It just seems to me that there isn't any true innovation in their games. I prefer companies who try new things with their games. For example, I enjoyed the hell out of Halo: Reach and Halo 4, and I had a blast with the Halo 5: Guardians beta. Those games all added something new to the mix. However, I don't find new Nintendo games to be very appealing to me, because they don't seem to spice things up with their new games. Edit: Like someone else in this thread said, they try to be a "nostalgia" company, and they milk the same games over and over every year.
