Abyss Defiant. Thoughts?
Been using this a bit. Just unlocked the slower fire rate/more damage perk and don't think I like it. Almost seems too slow and it still takes two clips to kill a major.
What are everyone else's thoughts on this gun, if you've got it?

1 回复It's really good as far as auto rifles go, i might even say the best legendary, due to the fact it is 331, elemental, and has good perks. The problem is auto rifles don't go very far.

It has low impact (not as low as some of the new DLC weapons though) so maybe people were expecting it to be a bullet hose? I don't know. Personally, I'm not a fan of the high RoF/low impact AR's. With Focus Fire, this gun is more akin to Suros, although Suros fires even slower. Plus it's Solar damage, has Hive Disruptor, and Lich Bane. If you put all that together with Perfect Balance, I think it's one of the better Legendary AR's available right now. Edit: If you do like bullet hoses, then just equip the hip fire perk instead of the Focus Fire perk.

1 回复Focus fire needs to give it more damage. Focus fire tends to be more of a hindrance than a boon currently. Also, abyss defiant needs to have a 40 count mag. It punishes you with such a small mag making focus fire the more popular choice so you're not reloading every 5 seconds. I have all crotas primaries maxed and honestly, did damage comparisons, the pulse rifle is better and the fang is great. Abyss is the weakest out of the 4 not including nechro.

9 回复I am confused. Did anyone that replies actually get and max this weapon? First the focus fore is broken it doesnt have the proper rate of fire but does have the low impact (i e it fires to slow in ff mode) So focus fire is usless I am very disapointed with the damage this gun does.
