Am I wrong when I say that truth is the best damn rocket launcher in PvP to date?!
Am I wrong when I say Gjallahorn has no competition from ANY rocket launcher in PvE since launch?!
Am I wrong to say that Dragons Breath is the worst (exotic) rocket launcher in the game?!
Let me know your thoughts guardians.
P.S. I wish I could experience the Gjallahorn life...
Edit 1: Does anybody have Dragons Breath and Sunbreakers to test whether or not pyromancer has an increased duration? Let me know your findings guardians.
Edit 2: Much to my dismay... Sunbreakers do not increase the duration of pyromancer for Dragons Breath. Buddha DS9 thank you for the quick response.
Edit 3: Ummmmmmmmm when did this thread take off so fast? Beats me. Keep it up guardians!

36 回复No. Gjallarhorn is the best choice for PvP and PvE. It has no rivals. Truth is a decent choice but falls short when comparing to gjallarhorn.

1 回复Dragon's Breath is like the hunter class; if your willing to put in the effort and gain some skill, arguably the best for PvE. It's just that you only need wolf pack if your THAT bad at aiming. Although I will admit that for pvp... G horn wins.

46 回复Gjallahorn is better in PvP in my opinion. I cross map snipers all the time with its tracking.

5 回复Pvp is definitely Truth territory. I'll direct your attention to about the 6:40 mark. http://youtu.be/K9bUFHOMFlo

In crucible, Truth and Gjallarhorn are for all intents and purposes equal, the tracking is a tad stronger on Truth and it has proximity detonation, but a rocket from either will kill the hell out of whatever you shoot it at. In PvE, I use Gjallarhorn for most situations, but I'll run Truth for something like void burn Nexus. In anything, Dragonsbreath is really nothing but a cool novelty, IMO. No tracking, slow velocity, slow reload.

4 回复I don't see a point in truth. Neither of it's abilities are unique. And it's not the only launcher to hold 3 shots in one tube. I know everyone is like "dat tracking doe" but tracking is near useless if your rocket has good velocity. The only tracking worth caring about is the wolf pack rounds. So no imo truth is the worst exotic launcher. My unfriendly giant doesn't miss and does void and holds 3 shots occasionally on reloads. DB is good for those who don't own ballarhorn. It has a huge blast radius and can provide area denial or continual extra damage on a boss. And Ghorn is obviously the best launcher for bosses. But I'd argue that there would be better launchers for mobs.

The jellyhorn for pve and pvp. I have gotten 4 kill with one rocket many times in pvp. And I also have truth. But the truth aggressive tracking is far superior. But overall I'm gonna say the jellyhorn is better for both. Well in my opinion at least

3 回复Dragon's Breath puts out nearly as much (in some cases, more) DPS than Gjallarhorn. People just can't use their brains to actually aim so they are reliant on the tracking Gjallarhorn offers. For PvP, that's fair enough. For PvE? Tracking is not an essential requirement for everything. Using the low velocity argument is nonsense, since the second tree of upgrades for Dragon's Breath gives it a massive boost to base velocity, making it far more effective. Is the velocity high? No. Is it too low? No. It's average, and that's perfectly fine. Now, with all this said and done, yes! Gjallarhorn IS better than Dragon's Breath! There just isn't as vast of a difference as people let on.

1 回复Dragon's Breath is an absolute insult to exotics - i was using it on patrol and it took TWO shots to kill a low level yellow. Absolutely terrible rocket launcher.

1 回复由CaNT编辑: 2/1/2015 7:36:33 AMGjallarhorn is the best rocket launcher in game. Truth stands under it and outclasses the G-horn's tracking. No one beats the Truth's tracking, but also no one beats the Gjallarhorn. Dragons Breath, not much to say about that. I think it's kinda bad, but that's my opinion.
