I have yet to see a lot of 31s beat the raid tho. There may be some out ther but if it was that easy they'd flood the forums. I've have a 31 on CE hard and all 32s and I can tell you right now it's a big difference. He was doing good also holding his weight(even tho a few times a knight would one swipe him)but that weight just isn't enough to make it more easier on the fireteam. Like I said I don't doubt 31s can't beat the raid, but you'd had seen it commonly if it was true so no it doesn't really count as far as fighting crota himself goes

I agree, 31s are weaker, no doubt about it. I wasn't looking to raid hard with my 31, I was asked to, otherwise I wouldn't have done it. I would love to be 32, but raid rng doesn't play nice with me for any of my characters. So now I feel left out, my groups want 32, and I don't care enough to raid with randoms, so I just play crucible instead. When 33 hits, I will collect the weapons. Already have one... I will still solo abyss and get mats/first drop in hopes that I get armor that I need.

You keep on doing that then you'll be there soon. Instead of soloing the hard raid lets I'd advise you to do normal raid tho that way you can get unwanted armor to break it down for more shards.i haven't seen any armor drop from hard mode so I don't think it does correct me if wrong,but if true you'll be better off getting armor and shards. It'll come tho buddy and people won't be able to even tell the difference that you was a 31
