Much longer might be a little exagerated. Like 1 second longer? If I titan jumps way up in the air first then they are about the same.

As for Golden Gun, it's as easy to use as the Halo 2 Battle Rifle due to the insane hitbox size and bullet magnetism. But it still requires a little bit of precision, not enough mind you, and you can still miss with it.
