I Think It Would Make Destiny Like Call Of Duty Modern Warfare.
The weapon designs are pretty much deliberate choices on the part of the team, meant to be distinctive and show what faction they came from.

Time & Patience is camoflaged, I believe, as that fits with its power of rendering the user invisible. Truthfully, in a game where the shooter can't even go prone and the shaders are designed to make one stand out even more, camoflage is also low on the list of their priorities. But maybe this will be in D. 2.
