I'm apposed to why american is the Middle East (freedom my arse) not like my country (Australia) has a better reason to be either but I'd still go if I was drafted. Mainly because of some stupid sense of honor more than anything else, and the fact my friends and family would be in the same boat so much rather be there to at least try and protect them somehow instead of hiding in protest. Plus draft dodging just seems cowardly I know that's not necessarily why someone would do it but whatever their reason it comes offs cowardly. If we want to push the hypothetical further and the war was truly and utterly unjust i.e american was just trying for world domination while committing genocide and other atrocities like that, i'd evade the draft and join a rebel group, or still join the draft and try sabotage from the inside
