Jk Rowling and Peter Jackson kind of did it already, and proved we'd pay for it...of course a game maker would try at some point.

Funny, the hobbit book was smaller than each volume of the Lord of the Rings which they managed to fit 1 movie per book with plenty of detail. The hobbit movies were a better example of a cash grab than Destiny any way you look at it.
