I know that you were at the hotel. Only three people knew that I was leaving the hotel to go on my pilgrimage. On that pilgrimage I was jumped by a knight who was wielding Excalibur. I concluded that the only way he could have known I was going to be there would be if someone here at the hotel was acting as a spy for him. That spy would be you.

Because you wanted to be the only demon around these parts. You knew fully well that if I failed to perform the ritual during my pilgrimage that my body would decompose and my spirit would die. Thus by tipping off a righteous knight, you insured that I would die and no one would know any better.

Yes I do in fact. Later today I was walking around the hotel with one sword in my chest. Then you came out of nowhere and threw your other sword at me in an attempt to kill me. After that you told me, "It's not my fault you trip on my blade." This is enough evidence to suggest that you were attempting to finish the job.
