The higher the fire rate, the better. The Mida is actually quite effective, albeit a bit slower than my B-Line Trauma.

Why do people think this? Real question. I can kill with most scouts in one shot in most situations but not the mida. It takes at least 2 shots to other scouts one, sometimes 3 or 4 and if you aren't getting headshots it's even worse. That means by the time it drops 1 enemy I could have killed 2, most of the time more. When you are switching targets between shots the slight rate of fire difference means nothing.

Yeah strictly pve. I like a bit of a faster rate of fire as well but there is a balance I look for. For instance the nitc has a rate of fire not far from mida but can one shot lower teir trash up to level 30. I can kill with it as fast as I can move my point of aim and pull the trigger. Not knocking what you like at all. I just believe in this game there is a balance between rate of fire and impact that drastically affect time to kill and while I love the mida other offerings in this game feel close and kill much much faster. I'm not pushing my opinion but rather just engaging in coversation. Maybe you can show me something that I don't see and sway my opinion.

Good points. It just boils down to personal pref I think. I don't know if you've seen it or tried it, but I got a scout as a reward from something called the B-Line Trauma. Crucible scout most likely. Super fast fire rate combined with both firefly and explosive rounds. Really fun. Yea, no worries, I find myself using the Fatebringer anyway, most of the time.
