Ya that's what sucks... Like it's nice always having some new weapons and armor pieces to grind for and hope for... But when they make our current armor and weapons isles it sucks because then we have to start all over. At least it feels that way.. Can you imagine people's reaction if lets say the ghorn and ice breaker didn't get an upgrade later down the road?? Many people including myself would be pissed lol. It sucks all the stuff you've been grinding for and spending hours trying to get becomes worthless over night :(.

That is how mmos have always worked. From wow to other ones, once a new expansion is out, all of those weapons that you loved so much, become weaker than that. They will ALWAYS allow you to upgrade your exotics through Xur or by randomly finding the item again, but as far as legendary raid weapons go, those will become useless when newer content is out. They are aware that we are upset, but there isn't much that they want to do about it.
