Here is another video I just did showing what happens after you blink jump out. Nothing gets spawned outside until "something" passes through the doorways on the left or right side. I verified this in another test where I lured one of the knights out through the door. You're pretty much all alone with Crota and one sword bearer until he enrages.

    Wait, so if you have two people with blink, you can pretty much two man crota without ever having to worry about the knights? Or does the game register that you're outside after the shield goes down?

    You should be able to two man him but you'll need to do it in three downs and one sword to avoid the spawns. Everything spawns when something passes through the left or right door, that being a player or a knight. Thats why I avoided the knights from following me outside in the second video I posted so I could hang out.
