Bungie made the raid gear drop more frequently to pretend like they listen to fan feed back and convince you to buy the dark below. The radiant materials were introduced to keep everyone a level behind for months and force you to grind the raid over and over even though you dont want to. Theres such a tiny amount of content in the dark below that they really didnt have much of a choice. Its a pathetic and malicious attack on its biggest fans.
