I explain this in the linked video, but a text version is not bad as well. I have noticed over the past few days an occasional change in Pocket Infinity's firing pattern. The only place I have experienced it (thus far) is on the Moon, and seems to occur when I enter the Hive tunnels. It does not seem to occur every time, and i have had it occur during both Patrols and Missions. The altered firing pattern lasts until I head to orbit, even after leaving the tunnels. If I return to the Moon (or any other planet), it reverts to its original pattern. So, the original firing pattern for Pocket Infinity (with the eponymous perk unlocked) is a slow initial charge up, followed by extremely rapid shots, shown in the first clip of the link. This is how the weapon has behaved ever since I completed the bounty and leveled it to that perk (this was prior to CE - this is the 1.0 of Pocket Infinity with max 300 Attack). Four or five times over the last several days (sometime after the 25th of December) I have encountered the altered firing pattern, shown in the second and third clips of the video. The slow initial charge up is followed by notably slower, more deliberate shots. I actually like the slower firing pattern, as it actually gives me a chance to adjust aim slightly, thus potentially hitting more than one enemy/wasting less ammo (even with the some return perk). As opposed to a panicked vomiting forth of fusion blasts, like before. Not sure if the slower rate is how it should function after patching, but it does not do so regularly, or if this is not intended and a glitch/bug. Either way, it felt worth reporting.
