Until Bungie fixes their raid testing none of this matters. They need to go out and hire away the raid developers from very successful raid design teams (immediately hire the Rift raid group), put in place much better internal and community testing, and stop releasing raids not just with bugs but design issues that break any challenge.
It looks like we are on a 3 month gear teadmill in this game. Unlike most gear treadmills that last a year or two in other MMOs, every three months is only sustainable if the *reason* for the treadmill is worth it. Broken raids will kill any enthusiasm for 3 or 4X a year gear mills.
Fix your end game, Bungie.
