Yeah, he gave them 3k lifetime memberships that equates to $3k. Just goes to show how retarded they are. Megaupload is under a ton of scrutiny. They just accepted 3k accounts to a highly sought after(not in a good way) and highly troublesome file share. Real smart.

Those who bought them were scammed. It states in the article the vouchers will be voided if attacks continue (which the attacks did continue). This guy failed to end the attacks and gave the attackers money for future attacks. Horrible choice by him.
