Other than the name, the entire holiday has little to do with Christianity (or Abrahamism in general). It is simply an adaptation of pagan holidays celebrated around the winter solstice. In it's modern iteration, it's simply an excuse to buy stuff and see family members you normally don't. Honestly, if all the Christian aspects were removed, the holiday would remain largely unchanged.
Dude, Christmas is about the birth of Jesus Christ. Is it celebrated for that in modern day? No. All the presents, trees, and lore came with all the pagan adaptation shít.
