Tbh, in my opinion it is just easier and faster to smash Crota into the ground legit than try to get this exploit working. More fun too. But I have nothing against people choosing to cheese.
We can't expect the players to abide by the rules when the game doesn't abide by them either. This game randomly screws people over in VOG with it's glitches and bugs, causing a team to wipe even when they were totally kicking Atheon's a$$. And that was the main reason people I know cheesed him, because it was easier and less frustrating than getting close to killing him then having a glitch fvck up your whole attempt.
Once the game sticks to the rules, then players will be more inclined to stick to them too.
Also, basing rewards purely on RNG makes people find the easiest way to do things to get rewards faster, maybe base them on effort somehow?
