Horrible high-pitched screeching sound - Xbox One
I don't know if anyone else has this issue, but just a short time ago I started Destiny up and as it started I heard this horrible screeching sound with the music and backround sounds.
At first I thought that maybe my LCD TV, which I purchased in 2008, had the speakers going out even though I only ever have it going at 1/5th it's maximum volume. I switched over to Cable and didn't hear any screeching, then I checked the HDMI cable on both ends to make sure nothing was going wrong with the cable, then I switched the game out to the Master Chief Collection and didn't hear anything as I played.
Is this something going wrong with my copy of Destiny, or is there something going wrong with the Destiny servers? I know I have fairly sensitive hearing, but I'm sure I wouldn't be the only person to hear this if it was an issue on Bungie's end.
Just a side-note, I was playing Destiny earlier today and I didn't have any issues with the sound.

I think its because of the auto start feature on xbox one that lets you resume a game immediately from where you left off. Problem is destiny logs you iut so it doesnt work. Hence the sound at startup. Happens to me too

This fix doesn't seem to work with my mic plugged in. Even when i set the chat mixer to "do nothing" when I plug in my mic the high pitch is heard by others in my party or fire team. It occurs in both game chat and party chat. and destiny is the only game where it happens

1 回复I had the same issue when I was using my kinect for a mic when my stock headset broke, I went in connect setting and switched some options around. It was gone and never has the problem again.

1 回复Used to happen to me too. Always folowed by "viper" error code. Had to close destiny and start again. Xbox1
