Ats/8 Arachnid needs a better perk.
Compared to the symbolite,the Arachnid is pretty lackluster,which is a shame because it's one of the better looking helmets available. Zooming in farther? Really? If you had to choose between a forth golden gun shot or zooming in farther while aiming the golden gun ,its pretty obvious what people are gonna choose.
I suggest replacing it with a perk i came up with:
Critical spot Locator:
Your Golden gun now deals precision damage.
When you activate the golden gun, the little eyes scan the enemies in front of you and highlights their critical points. Hitting them in the areas highlighted deals considerable precision damage. This would make dealing with tough enemies during raids and strikes much more easier,thus making the helmet more useful.
Plus im surprised that a helmet called the Arachnid doesn't have some form of radar perk also.
Like Radar stays on while aiming your current equipped weapon or while aiming down the golden gun.
Well i hope you listen Bungie, this upgrade will make the helmet worth wearing.

2 回复personally i think the most useless exotic is the one that increases the timer on the trip-mine grenade. seriously, its so bad its funny.

1 回复Like Radar stays on while aiming your current equipped weapon - That already exists. It's the Knucklehead radar. To be honest the golden gun should already do precision damage. Though that aside, I agree the arachnid actually makes the golden gun harder to use, not easier, so it doesn't really make sense.

I agree. It looks amazing. But the perk is just like '...that's it?' I think a dual perk like the HOIL would be appropriate, for example gives you the increased range perk and another one as the special. Third eye would be more than fitting given the design of the overall helmet, but would make knucklehead radar obsolete.

Hell yeah. BRILLIANT idea. Honestly almost anything would be better than what it has now. What does zooming in do? It doesn't increase the range of the golden gun, nor does it give it precision damage. Just makes it harder to see close targets.

I thought it should have Deadeye and Over The Horizon active when equipped. Kind of like Headstrong and Death from above on the Helm Of Inmost Light. You don't have to spec into them for them to be active, just be wearing it. That's really what makes the HIL an exotic.
