Do you like the NEW CRUCIBLE MAPS?
I don't know how many there are, but I just played 3 new maps (once each) for Clash:
They were Awesome! In my opinion.
The maps seem to cater to different weapons than previous maps, which should simmer the "wahhhh I don't like Shotguns" concerns.
I love the fact that the maps are more complex with a far more developed "vertical aspect" and many different approaches to get to a particular location. The usefullness of teamwork will likely be more important with the new maps also.
Just my opinions, what do you all think of them?

My fav is probably cauldron. I had high hopes for pantheon, but I find it to compact/ tight spaces. I found that sky shock was almost a first light re skin, but I never liked big maps. I think pantheon is amazing, with its architecture and 3 lanes like LoL. I don't really like Skyshock but I think the developers put a lot of time into the maps.

Tried two of them for first time on control and immediately went back to normal playlist so I wouldn't get them again. Skyshock started and immediately saw 3 or 4 scopes. Thought ok this is what everyone was talking about. Didn't get killed but went for flags and noticed no one was even trying to get either of our two flags. Went over to clear out snipers and they were gone. Spent rest of match just trying to find someone to kill. Seems difficult to even find anyone, maybe too big? The cauldron. Well destiny already has a lot of cherry picking but this one promotes it to the max. Saw very few actual exchanges of fire back and forth. Every time there was a kill it was someone on our team killing them before they could turn around or the, doing it to us. Don't mind smaller rooms but every single one has 3 or 4 entrances. Any time two people actually met head on and started firing back and forth one of them got cherry picked from the side.

1 回复Maybe it's too early but I really don't like them. They take two of my least favorite weapons and make them the primarily used weapons: shotguns and sniper rifles. And I find Clash terrible boring. I prefer an objective. Are the new maps in the Control rotation? I have yet to play them in control.

1 回复I love Pantheon but despise the other two. What really annoys me is I played for these maps and I can't choose what map I play on. I've played Pantheon twice in twenty plus games in the The Dark Below playlist. I've played on Skyshock at least seven times in a row now. As I'm typing this Skyshock is loading up.

1 回复I like all 3 of them for now. Skyshock is a massive improvement over Bastion and First Light. Although I think it would be better suited to Control or with more vehicles present. Cauldron is decent. The doors are useful chokepoints and seem to focus the action. Pantheon is starting to grow on me. I like the cramped hallways but mid to long range sight lines on Pantheon. But I still get turned around every so often.

1 回复Garbage maps enforcing shotguns and close range again. The sniper one on earth ain't bad, but why the -blam!- can't they make more midrange maps where there is actually a real firefight?

1 回复I've only played two so far, he moon one and Pantheon. I will say this, Pantheon is a TERRIBLE map to play rumble on. I had a 1k point lead in the game and slowly watched it get eaten away simple because I couldn't find anyone for like a full minute. Giant maze is right.

I spend most of my time there trying to find other players. I do like it though, and I'm sure that it's a lot better once you gain more map awareness. Skywatch is lol, probably one of the worst maps I've played next to Bastion imo. Too much open space. The two Skywatch matches I played were just giant sniper rifle cluster -blam!-s. Boring. I thought they would've learned from the community's reaction to First Light and Bastion, but I guess not. The moon map is pretty good. Probably the best out of the three, even if it's still a close-quarters map. I hate doors but that's my opinion. Overall they're ok. Skywatch is bad and I'll instantly leave the second I get that map unless I want to just dick around with my sniper.
