Lol it got removed because "we" all wanted a better way to obtain materials. Well we got it, and to remove an obvious exploit they removed the marks for materials. Makes sense. What you want is to go farm vanguard, so you could swap for materials and then swap back for crucible marks. Screw you, go play the other 50% of the game if you want crucible gear so bad.

They could of took away the rep and glimmer reward for selling it in, or had a different vendor with different currency. 5 marks for a mote of light? As they are worthless. As for the exploit why would you sell 10 marks for 20 spinmetal, then sell 50 spinmetal for only 5 marks.

Nothing wrong with having 2 ways. It is not crucible gear, it is just gear. I enjoy both PVP and PVE, but it was nice having something to do with all the materials instead of just throwing them away. No way I am going to play 34-50 matches to get 100 crucible marks to get gear that I will use in PVE waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay more than in PVP.
