The fact that Destiny got an award at all is troubling in terms of it's competition. I can't name a single game that came out this year that had a decent multiplayer. I would argue for MCC(if that actually worked) and GTAV online(if that actually worked) but those are just remastered games and they wouldn't dream of selecting a remaster for an award. It's almost like Destiny was the only candidate for best multiplayer If Destiny released last year I don't think the thought of rewarding Destiny with best multiplayer would have even crossed anyone's minds.

I agree with them. Everything in destiny can be played in multiplayer. And Destiny is a great game in general. Who actually cares about the story when that's like 1/100 of the game... And if you want a story that bad... Go read a book
